This Cluster offers courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Undergraduate Level
At undergraduate level, in the new Bachelor of Education, the following disciplines offer modules which prepare students to teach in the Intermediate, Senior and FET phases: Accounting Education; Business Management Education; Geography Education; History Education; and Life Orientation Education (including Physical Education). There are also pipeline Bachelor of Education modules which are on offer.
Postgraduate Level
The Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) is offered in several disciplines and in some cases, across sites. Entry to the PGCE is dictated by the Minimum Requirements for Teacher Education Qualifications (MRTEQ) document.
