Profile (Experience, Accomplishments, Awards, etc.):

  • Is a lecturer in Curriculum studies and Academic Leader for Bachelor of Education Programme in the School of Education at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa, where she is also a Golden Key Chapter advisor at Edgewood campus. Her research, focuses on access and throughput in Higher Education and Curriculum in Higher Education.  She is a former Academic Monitoring and Support coordinator and Funza Lushaka bursary coordinator in the School of Education. She holds PhD from University of KwaZulu-Natal. She taught science across United Kingdom schools from 1997 to 2008, where she was also a Gifted and Talented Coordinator. In 2014 she was awarded Golden Key honorary membership for her main contribution in the STAR programme and leading mentoring programme in the School of Education.
